Burleson Nature Discovery

Join us for the Burleson Nature Discovery: Back-to-School Adventure on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. This free family event invites you to explore the wonders of wildlife and nature in Burleson through hands-on activities, interactive exhibits, and outdoor adventures perfect for all ages. Engage with local naturalists to learn about monarch butterflies, bats, pollinators, and native plants. Activities include building an insect habitat, crafting fireflies, participating in a guided tree hike with Dr. Jessie Farris, and completing a Nature Bingo adventure. Attendees can also witness a butterfly release, meet live animals, and receive free school supplies while supplies last. A snow cone and food truck will be on-site for refreshments. This event, presented in partnership with the Rio Brazos Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists and Keep Burleson Beautiful, is an excellent opportunity to reconnect with nature before the school year begins.
