The Wishmaker House is located in the heart of the village of Bellville, Ohio. In 2010 the landmark was purchased by Brad and Karen Smith, who did extensive renovations turning it into a Bed & Breakfast. The Wishmaker House opened in August 2013 and has welcomed guests from all over the country. In 2018, the Wishmaker was purchased by Donnie and Jennifer Vanmeter who expanded the restaurants hours and menus to include Jennifer's famous cheesecakes!
We are also home to the Wishmaker House Winery where Donnie produces some of the finest wines in the area. We make 23 wines on site and have received numerous awards showcasing some of our signature wines such as Daydreamer, Midnight Rendezvous and Harvest Moon a Gold medal winner at Ohio Wines Competition.
