Join us for the Seneca America 250: Outdoor Celebration and Pleasant Hill America 250: Wings of Freedom events, taking place from June 12 to June 16, featuring a variety of family-friendly activities that celebrate nature, wildlife, and American history.
On Friday, June 12, kick off the celebration at Seneca with free coffee and donuts from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the Log Cabin Nature Center. Enjoy crafts for kids from 12 to 1:30 PM, and participate in a traveling nature program from 6 to 7:30 PM. Later, from 8:30 to 10 PM, families can experience the Family Glow Splash at the splash pad. Meanwhile, at Pleasant Hill, visit the Nature Center from 3:30 to 5 PM to learn about local wildlife, and enjoy Karaoke & Cards at the Welcome Center from 8 to 9 PM.
On Saturday, June 13, Seneca offers a scavenger hike from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, bubble fun at the basketball court from 2:30 to 3:30 PM, crafts for all ages from 5 to 6 PM, and a BINGO event starting at 6:30 PM. At Pleasant Hill, start your day with Breakfast with the Birds from 9 to 10 AM, followed by an Osprey Wagon Tour from 11 AM to 1 PM, and various crafts for kids and adults throughout the afternoon.
Finally, join us on Tuesday, June 16, from 9 to 11 PM for a Glow Paddle experience on Seneca Lake under the full moon, where you can decorate your kayak for added fun.
