šæ SUMMER SERIES šæ INVASIVE PLANT REMOVAL DROP-IN Join North Central Ohio Land Conservancy and the Richland County Park District this summer for a hands-on volunteer opportunity to identify and remove invasive plant species while supporting healthy native ecosystems. Whether you're an experienced steward or brand new to conservation work, everyone is welcome! š Date: Thursday 7/23 & Tuesday 8/18 ā° Time: 9:00 am - 11:30 am š¶ Drop-In Format: No registration required ā come anytime during program hours! š Location: Hemlock Falls Trailhead (5360 Bunkerhill North Rd, Butler, OH) What You'll Do ā Learn to identify common invasive plants ā Assist with removal efforts ā Support native habitat restoration ā Connect with community members who care about the environment What to Bring ā Comfortable outdoor clothing, preferably long pants ā Closed-toe shoes ā Water bottle ā Work gloves, if desired ā Sun protection We Provide ā Training and guidance ā Removal tools & gloves ā Safety instructions š Questions? cfreshwater15@gmail.com rglover@richlandcountyoh.gov
