The Blue Earth County Historical Society, in partnership with the Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership, is offering guided public tours of the Historic Good Counsel Hill on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This unique event aims to provide visitors with a final opportunity to explore the campus to gain insight into its historical significance from 1912 to 2023 before it’s repurposed by SWMHP later this year.
The Blue Earth County Historical Society will present guided walking tours of the former School Sisters of Notre Dame grounds and buildings, including Isidore Hall, Notre Dame Hall, Chapel, Theresa Hall, and St. Joseph Hall. Tours are limited to 15 per tour slot and last one hour. Please note this is a walking tour with stairs and limited places to sit down.
Timed tickets are $25/person. Tickets must be purchased in advance online at BlueEarthCountyHistory.com by visiting the History Center at 424 Warren Street, Mankato. Tickets are on sale now.
