Jeremy Facknitz has been delighting audiences with his unique brand of high-energy theatrical folk-rock-jazz for nearly 30 years. His band "THE OTTOMANS" topped Hall of Fame rockers "THE WHITE STRIPES" for Best New Alternative Band at the Detroit Music Awards in 2001. S., and soon the U. K. and beyond. The Jazz in the Garden 2026 season begins on May 29 at 7pm in the garden at the corner of N. Tejon and Monument Streets., just blocks north of downtown, and continues on alternate Fridays through August 21. Bring a picnic, lawn chairs and blankets, and get ready to spend your evening with the best music to be found in the city–new, old, tried and true you don’t want to miss a single one! We’ll provide beverages (for donation) and music that will get your toes tapping and fingers snapping. Picnics welcome. Blankets and lawn chairs encouraged. Beverages available. Family-friendly music and atmosphere. Live broadcasts on KCME Jazz 93.5 FM will be available.
