Learn the basics of making your own pickles, and take home samples! This one-hour workshop will introduce you to the basics of making lacto-fermented sour pickles using cucumbers (though the process works equally well with other vegetables) . Great for anyone looking to get started making their own pickles, or just looking for a way to preserve extra veggies!This program is open to adults and teens ages 13 and up. Any participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Younger children may be included in their adult's registration. Please contact Ben at bstinson@litchfieldnh.gov for more details. Registration is required to ensure we have enough supplies. Please register each participant separately.
