Graphic Novel Book Club (ages 9-13)

Join us for an awesome Graphic Novel reading adventure! Each session, we will discuss a pre-selected book and complete an activity related to our book selection!NEW to Graphic Novel Book Club: PLEASE REGISTER for this series through the calendar to attend! You will register once for the entirety of the series. Books ready at the front desk after each meeting for checkout--if you miss a book club, just stop at the main desk for our next read!If you are going to miss a session, do NOT cancel your registration! For parents: Despite contrary belief, research has shown that Graphic Novels are incredibly beneficial to children and their literacy skills! Graphic novels often contain more advanced vocabulary than chapter books, are helpful to readers with dyslexia, and are a way to encourage reluctant readers to engage in reading.
