This is the third in the series of luncheon lectures coming to the MS Ag & Forestry Museum. The highlight of this lecture will be Mound bayou Museum & African American History & Culture. In the Heritage Center Auditorium, July 10th from Noon - 1PM.
Rev. Darryl Johnson & Hermon Johnson, present a program about the Mound Bayou Museum of African American Culture and History, located in Bolivar County, MS, preserves the legacy of one of America’s first independent, all-Black towns founded in 1887 by former slaves.
