Singer/songwriter Grace Gunn, as her name implies, is a walking contradiction. With Mississippi roots and LA street smarts, vocals that are sensitive and soulful, rangy and powerful all at the the same, this brunette beauty is creating quite a stir in Nashville, Tn. With musical influences that run the gamut from Sheryl Crow and Paramore, to Martina McBride and the Dixie Chicks, she is that rare singer, a ‘velvet belter’, who can keep a warm, smooth tone even at the top of her vocal range.
