Theatre Macon, founded in 1986 by Jim Crisp Jr., offers professional-quality, affordable theatrical productions, opportunities for community members to act and assist in play production, and showcases new plays in line with modern drama trends. Additionally, it provides education and training in performance, playwriting, and production techniques, along with apprenticeship opportunities in community theatre operations.

Located in historic Macon, Georgia, Theatre Macon operates in the old Ritz Theater building downtown on Cherry Street, offering one of the region's most intimate performance venues. Annually, we produce at least nine full-length productions to include thought-provoking plays and entertaining musicals. Auditions and technical positions posted on our website's audition page and are open to the public.
