The Middle Georgia Regional Library (MGRL) is a public library system serving seven counties in central Georgia, including Bibb, Crawford, Jones, Macon, Twiggs, and Wilkinson. Its mission is to connect all people to information that improves their lives through excellent services and materials. MGRL offers a wide range of resources and programs for all ages, focusing on literacy development, workforce development, and technology access. They provide free library cards to all Georgia residents, enabling borrowing from their extensive collections and access to interlibrary loans through the PINES network. The library system also emphasizes community engagement, offering services like resume workshops, financial literacy programs, and access to grant resources for entrepreneurs and nonprofits. Additionally, MGRL is a hub for technology use, providing computer labs, internet access, and even 3D printing services, while also serving as a resource for genealogical and historical research.
