Details:
How does soil tell the story of our planet? In this hands-on activity, participants will discover how soils and sediments form and how geologists and soil scientists use them to understand Earth's history. Visitors will use real soil sieves to separate sediment by size and examine the pieces up close under microscopes. We'll even compare sediments from beaches around the world to see how environments shape what's beneath our feet. Location Details: Washington Memorial Library, 1180 Washington Avenue, Macon, GA, 31201
