Chuck's bluegrass journey began at Everett’s Music Barn in North Georgia, where he encountered mentors like Louisa Branscomb and Scott Morgan, who shaped his songwriting and performance skills. Relocating to Colorado in 2020 ignited his passion for crafting songs that reflect the High Lonesome sound. On High Lonesome's debut album, Chuck boasts four songwriting credits, including “We Hit The Road” and “Savage Sundown.” With over thirty years as a bluegrass frontman, he also enjoys solo shows, sharing his diverse musical passions and the stories that inspire his songs.
