Details:
The New Deal was a big deal for Blue Mounds State Park. Before opening in 1937, the park was shaped by the hard-working hands of people eligible for a nationwide relief program. Two structures still stand, bearing witness to a nation-wide recovery after the Great Depression. Drop by the naturalist’s table to explore the changes the New Deal brought to Blue Mounds State Park.
Use the Main Entrance of the park to meet at the Amphitheater near the cart-in parking lot.
This program is free to attend and it's Free Park Day! The usual vehicle permit fee is waived for the day.
