Details:
When the sun goes down, the world is far from dark. Fireflies start to flash, and the northern skies sometimes glow with the aurora borealis. Join the naturalist at the Amphitheater to explore the mysteries of things that shine in the night. Let the family stay up late for this program which begins at 9:15 p.m., just after sunset. Bring a chair (as seating is limited), bug protection, and clothes appropriate for the evening. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Flashlights are recommended, as it will be fully dark when the program is finished.
Use the Main Entrance to meet at the Amphitheater near the cart-in parking lot.
This program is free to attend, and it's Free Park Day!
The usual vehicle permit fee is waived for the day.
