Details:
Join The Castle’s Archaeology Field School, designed for high school students and adults, for an engaging week-long experience in modern archaeology. Led by professional archaeologist Wes Clarke, this program includes introductory discussions, hands-on activities, and moderate-paced fieldwork tailored to each participant's preferences. Campers will excavate a real archaeological site, process artifacts, and explore what these findings reveal about past human activities. Sessions run Monday through Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a registration fee of $50 per individual. Pre-registration is required by July 10, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., and cancellations must occur two weeks in advance for a full refund. Registration is limited to 12 campers on a first-come, first-served basis; your registration is not complete until all forms are received. For inquiries, contact Education Director Kyle Yoho at education@mariettacastle.org.
