Be Internet Awesome

Join us for a month of engaging and educational events at the library designed for children and parents alike! Children ages 6-12 can participate in "Be Internet Awesome," where they will receive essential guidance and tools to navigate the digital world responsibly. For our younger audience, ages 0-5, we invite you to "Baby Band Practice," a delightful session filled with music, stories, and interactive play that fosters brain development and social skills, followed by a lively Family Storytime. Additionally, families with children ages 2-5 can enjoy "Smarty Pants Storytime," filled with stories, songs, and movement to enhance school readiness, while adults participate in a Book Club discussing "The Emperor of Gladness" by Ocean Vuong.

For adults, we offer "Team Trivia," a competitive game night with prizes, and the opportunity to join a supportive Fiber Arts Club for crafting enthusiasts. Furthermore, parents of teenagers can attend the seminar "Raising Competent Teenagers," led by a certified librarian, to learn effective parenting strategies for teens aged 13-18. Come for a day of learning and community, regardless of your age!
