Independence Day Celebration

Join us for the Loveland Independence Day & Sesquicentennial Celebration on July 4th in Historic Downtown Loveland, commemorating both America's independence and the city's 150th anniversary. This vibrant event begins at 1:00 p.m. with Eric Blume’s Student Drum Recital, setting the stage for a full day of family-friendly activities, live music, delicious local food, contests, and a spectacular fireworks show at 10:00 p.m.

Enjoy a culinary feast at the Food Court from 2:00 p.m., featuring various vendors. At 4:00 p.m., the Independence Day Parade kicks off at Loveland Elementary School with community floats, a color guard, and special guests like the Shriners. DJ Diamond will provide music and entertainment throughout the day, along with a host of interactive activities including giant games, live wood-carving, face painting, and a variety of contests such as the Adult Spelling Bee, Lip Sync Battle, and Pie Eating Contest.

As evening falls, groove to live performances from the Michelle Robinson Band and participate in the final drawing for a commemorative bourbon bottle. Celebrate with your community in this exciting gathering that honors freedom and history, with free shuttle service and special promotions from local businesses throughout the day.
