Intro to Rigid Heddle Weaving Workshop with Rosa Roma. Join us for a two-hour hands-on weaving experience where you'll learn the fundamentals of rigid heddle weaving in one of Louisville's most inspiring fiber arts settings. Perfect for beginners or anyone curious about weaving, this workshop will guide you step-by-step through the process of setting up your loom, selecting yarns, and creating a woven textile to take home. Each participant will receive their own rigid heddle starter set—yours to keep! We’ll explore basic techniques such as warping, plain weave, and troubleshooting common weaving issues, all in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. Whether you're looking to begin a new hobby or deepen your fiber arts practice, this workshop offers both foundational skills and a beautiful space to create in. All materials provided. No prior experience necessary. Cancellation policy: If the registrant cancels 5 days or more before their class, camp, or workshop date, the fee will be refunded minus a $2 service charge. For cancellations less than 5 days before the class, camp, or workshop date, we cannot offer refunds, credits, or transfers, but you may send someone in your place! If Little Loomhouse needs to cancel a class, camp, or workshop for any reason, you will be refunded in full.
