All About Art: American Flag Bookmarks

Get creative while celebrating a classic American symbol in celebration of America’s 250th birthday! Designed for kids, this hands-on program invites young artists to design and create their own patriotic bookmarks inspired by the American flag. Participants will explore pattern, and simple design techniques as they craft a bookmark that’s both meaningful and fun to use. Along the way, they’ll learn a bit about the symbolism of the flag and how art can reflect history and culture. Everyone leaves with a handmade bookmark ready for their next great read! All materials are provided. Registration is recommended!
