Discover the Art of Kawandi Quilting!
Join artist Kelly Feltault of Crooked Path Studios for a relaxing and creative morning as you learn the traditional art of Kawandi and create your own beautiful hand-stitched placemat.
Kawandi is a meditative quilting style from the Siddi community of coastal India that requires no sewing machine or complicated patterns—just fabric scraps, a needle and thread, and your creativity!

9:00 AM–12:00 PM
During this workshop, you'll:
Learn the history and traditions of Kawandi quilting
Master the basic hand-stitching techniques
Create a unique 12" x 18" placemat to take home
Confident beginners are welcome! If you can thread a needle and sew a simple running stitch, you're ready to join.
Pricing:
• $50 per student – Bring your own materials
• $80 per student – Materials provided
Interested in continuing your quilting journey? Students may have the opportunity to join three additional sessions on August 8, 15, and 22 for $140 if minimum enrollment is reached.
Come slow down, stitch by stitch, and create something truly one-of-a-kind!
