Park Pals

Join us for "Park Pals" and "Storytime Gone Wild," two engaging outdoor events designed for ages 2-6, with activities for all.

"Park Pals" features a series of classes focused on various outdoor topics throughout June and July, including the Water Cycle, Turtles, Camping, Insects, and an exciting Sink or Float Regatta Boat activity. Each session costs $5 per participant and requires in-person registration. Participants should dress appropriately for outdoor weather, as children must be accompanied by an adult.

"Storytime Gone Wild" offers a unique blend of nature stories and wildlife exploration, led by a Virginia Master Naturalist. Happening every 4th Tuesday of the month, this event includes interactive storytelling followed by a nature walk, with activities like bird watching and leaf identification. Free registration is available at bit.ly/BansheePrograms, and while the focus is on ages 0-6, all are welcome to join.
