Join us in the planetarium for a light-hearted exploration of the connections between real science and science fiction in the book and movie Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. What was the author's inspiration for a non-water based lifeform? Does Rocky's planet really exist? Could we travel to another star? A couple of fans of the book and the movie will look at these and other questions. This program is aimed at general audiences, including older kids. Warning: there will be spoilers if you haven't read the book! Admission: $8/adult; $6/child; $20/family Nature Center doors open at 6:45pm. Planetarium events in general are not recommended for children under 5. Photo:
