Slow stitching & mending

Join us for a night of slow stitching and mending practice. We will have mending kits on hand to try out! Bring a project to work on or pick up some supplies from ours. A $5 donation is suggested to help cover mending kits and other supplies used, but the event is free. Why Slow Stitching? Why Mending? In today’s busy world, it can be tempting to “toss it” and replace it. More and more, folks are looking for ways to slow down, fix it rather than forget it, learn new skills and build a community with others who share these goals. Ditch the phone for a night (okay, let’s admit we’ll probably have to get on YouTube to check out some tutorials, but you know what we mean) and hang out with friends or find new friends at these slow stitching craft workshops. No experience necessary, bring your own supplies or use ours.
