Mimosas and a Masterpiece! “Sunflowers” by Vincent van Gogh with Laura and Mickey

Explore texture, abstraction and mark making as you step into the painting world of Vincent van Gogh. Join us to paint his iconic “Sunflowers,” where no two flowers are the same and the background is a robin egg blue. This class is about loosening up, embracing dramatic impasto, and discovering how powerful vibrant color and vigorous application can be.
Santa Fe artists Laura Tarnoff and Mickey Bond will guide you step-by-step through building rich texture, blending glowing yellows, and layering paint. You’ll learn how to render distinct botanical forms, highlight golden light against a cool, woven background, and work to capture the raw energy and emotion within nature.
No experience needed. All materials are provided, along with mimosas and light snacks. You’re also welcome to bring your favorite beverage or treat.

Artful Soul Creative Experiences is located on the ground floor in the back of the Santa Fe Village Mall. 227 Don Gaspar Ave Santa Fe, NM 87501. There is no public parking at our location. Park on the street or the Water Street Parking lot.
