DIY Gardening Aprons @ Michelle Obama

Join us for two exciting events on Tuesday, July 14, 2026!

First, at the Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library (5870 Atlantic Ave, 90805) from 5:30 to 6:45 PM, participate in a DIY garden apron sewing workshop as part of our Summer Reading celebration. Staff will provide guidance and materials to help you create a personalized garden apron for all your gardening adventures. Supplies may be limited, so arrive early!

Simultaneously, at the Billie Jean King Main Library (200 W. Broadway, 90802) from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, unwind with our Bibliotherapy Tea session. This mindful gathering is designed for adults 18 and older to relax, reflect, and reconnect through creativity, journaling, and a soothing cup of tea. Registration is encouraged, but not required.
