Explore Alice H. Richards Children’s Garden at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia

The State Botanical Garden of Georgia is the perfect spot for a family outing! Families can enjoy trails, gardens, and hands-on fun in the Alice H. Richards Children’s Garden, which features climbing structures, water play, a fossil wall, and a replica cave. It’s a beautiful, free resource for families to explore together.

When you find the arch at the back of the Children's Garden, follow the path to find a wooden treehouse that offers more to climb with plenty of space to run!Parents and caregivers -- walkways are stroller-friendly and are frequently lined with benches for rest and snack breaks, as well as bathrooms and water fountains in the middle of the garden.
