This empowering workshop for women of color emphasizes that softness and rest are essential, not just rewards to be earned. It recognizes the immense burdens often carried by women of color, who navigate the world with resilience but may struggle to find space to simply be. “Softness Is Not a Luxury” is a single-session gathering that invites participants to release the need to justify their rest. Attendees will be encouraged to understand that their softness does not diminish their strength, that boundaries are vital, and that taking time for oneself is a necessary act of self-care. This workshop offers a safe space to breathe, be seen, and embrace the idea that they belong just as they are, without having to prove their worthiness.
