DFW Summer Series Race 3

The DFW Summer Series, an annual highlight for mountain bikers in North Texas, will take place in 2026 at the Big Cedar Wilderness Trail in Dallas, Texas. Races are scheduled for Thursday nights throughout the summer, specifically on June 4, June 11, June 18, June 25, and with potential rain dates on July 9 and July 16. Presented by Sun & Ski Sports, the series aims to provide accessible and family-friendly racing experiences.

Competitors will race on a 3.1-mile short track course featuring tight corridors, winding turns, and natural obstacles like rocks and roots, culminating in a challenging creek and bridge crossing. Race categories are based on participants' ages as of December 31, 2026.

Start times are as follows: Juniors at 6:00 PM, Women at 6:30 PM, and Men, Singlespeed, and Ebike riders at 7:15 PM. Registration fees are $30 for adults (ages 14+) during pre-registration and $40 for late registration. Juniors (under 13) pay $20 for pre-registration and $30 for late registration. Races will start and end near the Patriot Pavilion, and participants are urged to respect the Mountain Creek Church property during the event.
