About the presenter: Dr. Watanabe is an Associate Professor of Anatomy at the New York Institute of Technology and a Research Associate in the Division of Paleontology at the American Museum of Natural History. His research explores how key characteristics of modern birds evolved from their dinosaurian ancestors, with a particular focus on the evolutionary origins of the remarkably large and specialized brains found in living birds.
