The Cramerton Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all citizens by developing recreation facilities, services, and programs that promote wellness, physical activity, and community engagement for all ages. They manage over 180 acres of parkland, including five town-owned parks, and maintain 10 greenways and trails totaling over three miles. The department also oversees six fishing and observation piers and provides six river access points to the South Fork Catawba River. Their responsibilities extend to numerous youth sports programs, community events, fitness programs, and summer camps. Additionally, they operate three indoor facilities and the seasonal Cramerton Recreation Public Pool. Their mission is to foster a lifestyle of wellness and physical activity through accessible and diverse recreational opportunities.
