Full Moon Hike at Ponca State Park

Join Ponca State Park Naturalists on the Corps of Discovery Trail to watch the moon rise!
Meet at the Riverfront Playground for guided hikes (approximately one hour) along the beautiful wooded trails. These hikes will include some steep inclines and are considered moderately challenging. Hikers are encouraged to bring water and snacks.
Handheld flashlights will be provided. Guests can bring their own headlamps or flashlights if they prefer.
Hike are scheduled for following dates and times:
April 1 at 7:30 p.m.
May 1 at 8:45 p.m.
May 31 at 9:45 p.m.
June 29 at 9:15 p.m.
July 29 at 9 p.m.
August 27 at 7:45 p.m.
September 26 at 6:45 p.m.
October 25 at 5:45 p.m.
Hike may be cancelled due to weather or staffing. Please call the park office at 402-755-2284 to confirm.
A valid state park vehicle permit is required for park entry.
