he award-winning Black Swamp Arts Festival is back for its 32nd year September 11-13, 2026. Join us in Downtown Bowling Green, Ohio for amazing local, regional, and national musicians and over 150 artists for three days packed with unforgettable experiences!
Ohio's largest free music and arts festival has two art shows. The Festival's Juried Art Show is comprised of painters, photographers, woodworkers, and many other artists from all over the country, while the Wood County Invitational Art Show features local artists, allowing the Festival to spotlight a variety of artistic talent.
Kids and adults alike will enjoy the Youth Arts Village, where they can let their creativity soar by participating in make-and-take crafts like creating tie-dye shirts in the festival favorite: Tie-Dye Booth! The Teen Arts area features competitions like Beats on the Street (vocal ensemble competition) and Chalk Walk (chalk mural competition), where they can see local high schools compete to raise money for their school.
