About: This course is designed to teach middle and high schoolers about first aid ailments and treatments. In addition, CPR/AED will be taught and practiced on manikins. Class topics will include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding what 'First Aid' is
- Recognizing and treating common injuries
- Recognizing and treating common illnesses
- Handing unresponsive persons
- Calling 9-1-1

Requirements: Kids enrolled in this class should be in 6th-12th Grade ONLY. If possible, bring a device for an online activity.
Things to Know:
- Registration is free but required. See event info for details.
- A guardian must check in their child(ren), then they can stay for the class or return to pickup.
- Arrive 10 minutes prior to class time
- Candid photos may be taken
