Basic Jr. Fire Academy

About: This class is the perfect way to introduce what it takes to be a firefighter. Kids will learn how to be ambassadors of fire safety by learning about the tools of prevention - smoke alarms and home escape plans. That knowledge will then be put to the test in our Safety House. Once they've successfully mastered their fire safety skills, students will head to our Safety Town Fire Station to visit with a firefighter and learn about firefighting equipment, then even complete a firefighter agility course!
Cost: Free!
Requirements: Children enrolled in this class should be in Elementary.
Siblings are allowed to attend, provided they do not disrupt the learning environment. If siblings attend, a guardian must remain with the group.

- A guardian is encouraged - but not required - to stay with their child(ren) for this class.
