Container Gardening

Join us for a special gardening event featuring two exciting programs! First, learn about container gardening with Kate from Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens, perfect for those with limited space who want to grow their own produce. This insightful presentation is generously funded by the Friends of the Shrewsbury. Additionally, participate in the Storybook Garden Club, where children will engage in educational activities that connect them to nature and the science behind gardening. Through hands-on lessons on topics like botany, pollinators, and nutrition, kids will discover the journey from plant to plate. Each meeting will take place both indoors and outdoors, so be sure to come prepared with sunscreen, hats, aprons, and gardening gloves. Join us for an enriching experience in gardening!
