Details:
Delicate texture, cozy yarn, and a hat that feels special from the very first stitches.
The Crocus Hat combines a folded brim with a beautiful dandelion stitch pattern that blooms across the body of the hat. This is a wonderful next-step project for knitters who are comfortable with hats and ready for something a little more refined and technique-focused.
We’ll work through:
The dandelion stitch pattern
Crown shaping within texture
Working with fine-weight yarns and held-together strands
Tips for lightweight luxury fibers
The pattern was originally designed holding fingering and lace yarn together for a soft, luxurious fabric—but there’s lots of room to customize your version. We especially love Trinity Cashmere held with fingering yarn.
Meets twice for 2 hours
Students receive 10% off class materials
Students should come to the first class with the brim completed (or nearly completed) so we can jump right into the textured stitch pattern together.
Skill Level: Intermediate. Students should already feel comfortable knitting hats in the round and managing smaller needles and finer yarns.
Heads up! We need everyone to register at least 24 hours in advance so we can prep materials and plan ahead—no walk-ins, please! Thanks for helping us keep class cozy and stress-free.
