Details:
Join us for Family Storytime, a delightful 25-minute session for children ages 5 and younger and their caregivers, hosted at both the Pine Valley Library and the Northeast Library. These engaging events feature stories, songs, and movement activities designed to develop early literacy skills through the five essential practices: SINGING, TALKING, READING, WRITING, and PLAYING. No registration is necessary, and families are encouraged to bring a blanket or towel to sit on during the outdoor session at Pine Valley Library, where free play will follow storytime. Please note, if weather conditions are poor or the temperature drops below a 40-degree wind chill, storytime will move indoors. At the Northeast Library, families arriving after the room capacity has been reached will have access to an interactive play space and recommended books.
