Berkshire Botanical Garden presents Zoot Allures and the Zydeco Playboys

Music Mondays, BBG's summer concert series, continues with Zoot Allures and the Zydeco Playboys on Monday, July 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a cajun show coinciding with Bastille Day. Zoot Allures and the Zydeco Playboys feature the rhythm section of Tom Major, with bassist/vocalist John Anthony and guitarist John Caban, plus enjoy the wacky, wild musings of accordionist Dave Vitone. Zoot Allures celebrates the unique musical style that was spawned from the New Orleans mix of French and Caribbean cultures, and is a true “gumbo” of styles, culture and language. Playing the Zydeco hits, including the best of artists like Buckwheat Zydeco, Clifton Chenier and Terrance Simien, Zoot Allures will surely get your feet tapping.
Enjoy live music drifting across the Garden grounds, bring a blanket, sip something cool, and let the sweet sounds of some of the region’s most talented musical performers set the tone for a perfect summer evening.
