Penn State Extension Master Gardeners will share practical tips for growing and using herbs, and participants will receive take-home plants to get started. An extension health and wellness educator will provide a tasting of fresh vegetables paired with a flavorful herb dip while demonstrating how herbs like dill, mint, and basil can enhance meals without added salt. Learn simple, delicious ways to reduce sodium, boost nutrition, and support heart health while making everyday dishes more vibrant and enjoyable.
Part of a grant-funded series for Lebanon County seniors, this program supports those interested in the YMCA Community Garden and serves as a pickup location for Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers.
