Join us for "Stargazing 101" with renowned amateur astronomer Ed Ting on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Enfield Public Library, 23 Main Street, Enfield, NH 03748. This free event, co-sponsored by the Enfield Shaker Museum, will cover the essentials of celestial viewing, including telescope usage and what to expect during a skywatch. Weather permitting, a live demonstration outside will showcase celestial objects such as Saturn's rings, the Dumbbell Nebula, and double stars like Albireo and Mizar. Ed Ting, celebrated in the astronomy community and featured in prestigious publications as well as on a popular science-themed YouTube channel, will guide attendees through this enlightening experience.
