The Norcross Branch of the Gwinnett County Public Library is a modern facility dedicated to serving the community with a wide range of resources and services beyond traditional book lending. It features a 22,000 square foot space, including a community room, expanded computer services, and areas for creative projects and interactive programming. A notable feature is its "maker space" equipped with a 3D printer and other tools to foster entrepreneurship. The library also offers dedicated spaces for audio and video recording, a gaming room, and study rooms. Historically, the Norcross library dates back to 1907, making it the first library in the Gwinnett County region. The current branch, relocated to Lillian Webb Park, was designed as a 21st-century library, reflecting a commitment to meeting community needs and attracting families and businesses to the area. The library provides educational services, including assistance with improving reading and writing skills, studying for equivalency exams, learning English, and enhancing math and technology skills. It also offers programs for various age groups, from toddlers to teens and adults, focusing on early literacy, STEM, creative arts, and professional development.
