Public Hearing for Millage Rate

The City of Johns Creek is conducting a Public Hearing for its proposed 2026 millage rate, which is set to increase property taxes by 5.91% from the previously adopted rate of 3.492 mills. Three Public Hearings are scheduled: the first on July 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and the third during the City Council Meeting on July 27, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. All sessions will take place at City Hall, 11360 Lakefield Drive, Johns Creek, GA 30097. Residents are encouraged to attend, provide comments, and review the city's tax digest history on the city website. Additionally, a Work Session for the proposed FY2027 budget will occur on the same day, July 13, at 5:00 p.m., with subsequent Public Hearings on the budget set for July 27 and September 14, both at 7:00 p.m. For inquiries, residents may contact the city via email or phone.
