The bootcamp introduces students to civic engagement, community involvement, and environmental responsibility through interactive learning. Harris County's Grow the Vote Youth Bootcamp is a five half-day summer program for middle school and early high school students (ages 12–14) and in partnership with Harris County Public Library, TAMU AgriLife Extension, University of Houston–Downtown, and TAMU Forensic Science. The bootcamp introduces students to civic engagement, community involvement, and environmental responsibility through interactive, hands-on activities focused on community beautification, public health, and youth rights. Program Details: June 29 - July 2 (M-Thurs) 10 AM - 2 PM Daily La Porte Branch Library Accepted Ages: 12 -14 * *A parent/guardian must be present with their child(ren) throughout the camp.
