Join us for an enriching series of events aimed at fostering growth and connection for both STEM majors and young children!
For STEM students, "Thriving as a STEM Major" is a no-fluff virtual presentation providing essential strategies to succeed in science, tech, engineering, or math. Learn effective time management, study strategies tailored for STEM courses, and how to build a support network. Gain insights on securing research, internships, and mentors, and handle challenges like imposter syndrome. This session equips you with the mindset and tools to stay confident and curious throughout your academic journey. If you require personalized assistance with interview skills, one-on-one appointments with advisors are available.
For toddlers and their caregivers, we host engaging weekly activities: "Toddler Story Time" on Wednesdays at 11:00 am, featuring books, songs, and rhymes followed by playtime; "Lil' Cubs Baby Time," a delightful morning of board books, songs, and parachute play designed to support language development; and "Wiggle Wednesday," where toddlers can move and groove through reading and playful movement, promoting motor skills in a joyful environment. No registration is required for any of these toddler-focused events, making them a perfect opportunity for socialization and early literacy engagement!
