Details:
Step into summer a little wiser in this hands-on workshop on natural sun care. Students will make their own natural sunscreen to take home, learn about natural and mineral SPF ingredients, and explore how herbalists think about protecting and soothing sun-exposed skin. We’ll also demonstrate a simple after-sun remedy for burns, heat, and dryness, while talking through why many conventional sunscreen products raise concerns for our bodies, waterways, and ocean life. Fun, practical, and useful, this class is a great introduction to building a more natural summer apothecary.
About the teachers:
Woodland Herbal is a family of four generations of herbalists, who specialize in plant-based remedies, herbal medicines, natural beauty products and organic skin care products. We offer a quality you can't buy in stores, as our health and wellness products are handmade and crafted by our family of herbalists. They employ great research, time, love, and positive intent in all of their recipes, and they use only the highest quality of natural ingredients known to man.
