Join us for the Opening a Child Care Center Workshop, a two-part interactive training series designed to equip aspiring child care owners in Ohio with the essential skills and knowledge for success. The sessions will take place on Tuesday, July 8th and Tuesday, July 22nd, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Participants will learn about crucial topics such as pre-licensing requirements, rule reading practice, best practices for organizing systems, human resources and staffing, understanding the true cost of care, and the phases of building a strong program. Additionally, attendees will receive valuable insights from professional and local community resources to support their business preparation. Please note that this training does not fulfill the ODJFS Pre-Licensing training requirement, and both sessions must be attended to receive OA credit.
