Englewood Schools
4101 S Bannock St, Englewood, CO 80110, USA
Englewood is a small suburban community approximately 6.5 square miles in size located near the geographical center of the Denver metropolitan area. Nestled between the city of Denver and its suburbs to the south, Englewood Schools' students thrive in a unique learning environment. This public school district provides its 3,000 students with access to teachers and to programs in ways usually only found in private school settings. The eight district schools along with the Early Childhood Education Center (recently awarded a Four-Star rating from Colorado Shines) and Champions Before and After School Program serve as the focal point of a community dedicated to providing the best preschool and educational opportunities possible for their students and those from surrounding school districts. An elementary International Baccalaureate program is available. Alternative educational opportunities are available to high school students in an award-winning (John J. Irwin Colorado School of Excellence for five consecutive years) high school while a traditional high school educational opportunity exists at Englewood High School, home to more than 30 Boettcher scholars. Approximately 25% of all Englewood Schools' students come from outside the school district, making it one of the top districts in the state in terms of open enrollment.
