Spotted Towhee (c) Mick Thompson All ages and birding abilities welcome! Join Evergreen Audubon on the second Monday of each month from March through August for a bird outing along the front range! This month we’ll meet at Lair O’ the Bear Park at 7:30 AM. Our walk will be approximately 2-miles, starting at the Goldfinch Bridge and heading down toward Kingfisher Bridge. The trails are generally flat and well-maintained with a gravel surface. Lair o’ the Bear is a fantastic area to see American Dippers, Bullock’s Orioles, Lazuli Buntings, and more! We’ll keep an eye out for hawks, warblers, and numerous other foothills regulars on this beautiful walk along Bear Creek. What to Bring: Binoculars Weather-appropriate clothes Water Snack This event is FREE, but registration is required. All are welcome, but we strongly encourage participants to be Evergreen Audubon Members.
